KimboCare is not a health insurance. There is no commitment to monthly premiums as it is the case with health insurance. With KimboCare, you support loved ones as much and as often as you want. KimboCare's health credits are medical services prepaid by our customers for patients with limited financial means. Additionally, our customers always know upfront how much care is expected to cost and patients gain "free" access to affordable quality healthcare at dedicated hospitals and pharmacies.

Depending on the country and medical partners, patients can access care on site at the hospital or pharmacy, online through telemedicine and in the comfort of their homes.

Each medical service bundle offered on our website is associated with a fixed number of health credits. Patients receive care up to the number of health credits offered. We advise clients to discuss with their loved ones which package to purchase, although we suggest always starting with a general consultation to perform an initial assessment and propose a treatment plan.

What's the value of a health credit?
The value of one health credit depends on the currency. For example, it is equivalent to 1 EUR or 1 USD. Health services will only be provided to the patient up to the amount of health credits purchased.
- Is there a limit to the amount of health credits clients can purchase?

No, you can purchase as many health credits as you want and use them whenever you are ready to support a loved one with access to care.

Which medical services are accessible with health credits?
The following is an indicative list of the care bundles we offered and medical services included. We recommend our customers to purchase a primary care consultation to run an initial health assessment and lay out a treatment plan as needed.
Module 1: Primary Care Consultation (30 health credits) - includes anamnesis, physical examination, vitals, review of medical reports or prior diagnosis, initial or follow up health-check.
Module 2: Specialist Consultation (50 health credits) - includes visits after a general / simple consultation, specialist visits, referral for a second opinion (surgical, medical or psychiatric).
Module 3: Preliminary medical tests (30 health credits) - includes biological tests (blood, urine, stool, sputum), basic follow-up, basic ultrasound.
Module 4: Advanced Medical Analysis (50 health credits) - includes specific biological analyses, standard medical imaging other than conventional radiology and ultrasound.
Module 5: Medical Imaging (100 health credits) - includes conventional radiology, computed tomography (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), arteriography, advanced ultrasound.

If the patient does not receive the confirmation SMS immediately after the purchase of health credits, please check into your order confirmation email. Copy and paste the relevant section and send him to the patient by SMS or Whatsapp. If it's not there, send an email to [email protected]

- How do I know that the right patient is receiving the medical services?
How do I know that the right patient is receiving the medical services?
You assign the health credits to a patient for the patient for the first time. When the patient arrives to the hospital, he/she will be enrolled using our advanced FaceID authentication. You will need to approve the first time authentication in-app. For subsequent identifications, the KimboCare system will automatically process the known credentials for an hassle free experience for the patient.
